Hyperliquid Trading Support: Perps, Spot, Funding, and Liquidations
Full Hyperliquid integration — perpetual futures, spot trading, funding rates, deposits, withdrawals, and liquidations. All classified automatically for your tax return.
Hyperliquid has become one of the most popular perpetual futures platforms in crypto, and we now fully support it.
Just add your Hyperliquid wallet address and we will automatically sync and classify every trade you have ever made — perpetuals, spot, funding rate payments, deposits, withdrawals, and liquidations.
What Gets Imported
- Perpetual futures trades — Every open, close, and partial fill with PnL
- Spot trades — Token swaps on Hyperliquid’s spot market
- Funding rate payments — Both payments and receipts, classified as ordinary income or expense
- Deposits and withdrawals — USDC movements to and from the platform
- Liquidations — Forced closures with the correct tax treatment
Tax Classification
Hyperliquid transactions are automatically classified:
- Perps trades →
perps_trade— taxable disposal, gains/losses calculated against cost basis - Funding payments received →
funding_rateincome — ordinary income at fair market value - Funding payments made →
funding_rateexpense — may offset gains - Liquidations →
liquidation— taxable event, typically a loss - Deposits/withdrawals →
transfer— non-taxable movements
Incremental Sync
After the initial import, subsequent syncs only fetch new transactions. We track where we left off so re-syncs are fast and do not duplicate data.
Why This Matters
Perpetual futures are one of the most tax-complex areas of crypto. Funding rates alone can generate hundreds of taxable events per year. Most crypto tax software either ignores Hyperliquid entirely or requires manual CSV uploads.
We sync directly from the Hyperliquid Info API — no CSV exports needed, no manual work. Add your address, and your tax report includes everything.
