Step-by-step instructions for connecting your exchanges

Security Note: Always use read-only API keys when connecting exchanges. Never give withdraw or trade permissions to third-party services.

Coinbase

OAuth
2-3 minutes
  1. Click "Connect" on Coinbase
  2. Log in to your Coinbase account
  3. Authorize Blockchain Smart Tax to view transactions
  4. Done! Your transactions will sync automatically

Binance

API Key
5 minutes
  1. Log in to your Binance account
  2. Go to API Management (Account > API)
  3. Create a new API key
  4. Set permissions to "Read Only" (enable reading)
  5. Copy the API Key and Secret
  6. Paste them into Blockchain Smart Tax
  7. Done! Your transactions will sync automatically

Kraken

API Key
5 minutes
  1. Log in to your Kraken account
  2. Go to Settings > API
  3. Create a new API key
  4. Select "Read" permissions only
  5. Copy the API Key and Private Key
  6. Paste them into Blockchain Smart Tax
  7. Done! Your transactions will sync automatically

KuCoin

API Key
5 minutes
  1. Log in to your KuCoin account
  2. Go to Management > API
  3. Create API key
  4. Set permissions: Read (Spot trading)
  5. Copy API Key and Secret
  6. Paste them into Blockchain Smart Tax
  7. Done! Your transactions will sync automatically

Gemini

API Key
5 minutes
  1. Log in to your Gemini account
  2. Go to Settings > API
  3. Create new API key
  4. Select "Read all" permission
  5. Copy the API Key and Secret
  6. Paste them into Blockchain Smart Tax
  7. Done! Your transactions will sync automatically
