Share Your Crypto Tax Data With Your CPA — Securely, With Read-Only Access
Invite your accountant to view your transactions, cost basis, and tax reports without giving them the ability to change anything. Token-based access with expiration dates and one-click revocation.
Tax season means sending spreadsheets back and forth with your CPA. Or worse, sharing your login credentials so they can poke around your account. Neither option is great.
Today we are shipping Accountant Read-Only Access — a secure way to give your CPA exactly the data they need, without the risk of accidental changes or credential sharing.
How It Works
- Go to Settings → Security → Accountant Access
- Click Invite, enter your accountant's name and email
- Choose how long the access should last (30 days to 1 year)
- Copy the secure link and send it to your CPA
Your accountant opens the link, sees a clean read-only dashboard with your transaction summary, wallet list, capital gains breakdown, and disposal count. They can page through transactions but cannot modify, delete, or export anything without your permission.
What Your Accountant Can See
- Transaction counts — total, buys, sells, transfers
- Wallet summary — how many wallets, which chains
- Tax summary — total gains/losses, number of disposals
- Transaction list — paginated, with dates, types, assets, and values
What They Cannot Do
- Edit or delete transactions
- Change your cost basis method
- Export reports (they need their own paid account for that)
- Access your password, email, or payment information
Full Control Stays With You
Every invite shows its status — pending, active, or revoked. You can see when your accountant last accessed your data and revoke access instantly with one click. Access tokens are SHA-256 hashed in our database, so even in the unlikely event of a breach, the raw tokens cannot be recovered.
We built this because we believe your CPA should be able to do their job without you handing over the keys to your account. Secure, scoped, expiring access is how professional collaboration should work.
Create your free account and try it during our beta — all features are free with up to 10,000 transactions.
